An EMA is an allowance of £30 a week (paid fortnightly) for students who decide to stay on at College. You may be eligible for EMA if:

You can start getting EMA payments as soon as you start your course, as long as you:
Once we approve your application the College will need to confirm you have attended. Then payments will be made to your bank or building society account fortnightly.
If you are accepted for EMA, once you start your course, you must sign a Learning Agreement with the College. This Learning Agreement covers all attendance and performance rules set by the College. You must meet these in order to receive your weekly allowance. To apply you will need to complete an EMA Application form. These forms are available from all Campuses or can be downloaded from the Student Finance Wales website.
